me, the moon and you is an ongoing fiber installation series exploring the emotional inner voice and the passage of time. Works in this series are constructed in the tapestry style of crochet and depict fragments of my own inner voice sourced from my e-journals. In my journals, I make a record of thoughts, feelings, and experiences that remain in my mind. The nature of the crochet process demands time and care to create consistent and carefully constructed pieces of material. By intermingling woven fibers, time spent, and the remnants of my thoughts, I create both a representation of myself and a soft place for another person to reflect on and connect with my experiences.
